When Soppie was sleeping in her warm bed in an orphanage, she got a strange feeling that she never felt before. The world was so quiet as it was dead, and she saw a really tall shadow moving outside of her room. It was a giant and he took Sophie to his home which was in a giant land. At first she was so scared but she found out the giant was a Big Friendly Giant, so she has no worries anymore. However, the other giants in athe giant land, they go to countries where human live and eat some for supper every night. Sophie couldn't stand what the filthy giants do, so she decided to ask a help to the queen of England and try to punish the giants.
Impressions
Since the BFG uses strange English like "I is right or left?'' which means "Am I right or wrong?", it was sometimes a bit hard to read. However, the whole story was really nice! And I was surprised with the Sophie's idea that is to ask a help to the queen of England. If I were her, I would't ask a help to the Emperor of Japan nor the prime minister. She is so brave~!
If you like Roald Dahl, this is one of the must-read book :)
